Position Overview

As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. You will support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning experiences, meaningful interactions, and purposeful play.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
  • Implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
  • Foster children's social-emotional growth and school readiness skills
  • Always supervise children while ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance
  • Participate in curriculum implementation, classroom activities, and family engagement events
  • Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to maintain program excellence

Qualifications

Required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • One or more years of childcare or teaching experience
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management
