Position Overview
As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. You will support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning experiences, meaningful interactions, and purposeful play.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Foster children's social-emotional growth and school readiness skills
- Always supervise children while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance
- Participate in curriculum implementation, classroom activities, and family engagement events
- Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to maintain program excellence
Qualifications
Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- One or more years of childcare or teaching experience
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management
